Everything you need to memorise effectively
Unlimited front / back cards
Create as many decks and cards as you want. Each card pairs a front (question or term) with a back (answer). Multi-line text and Unicode characters are preserved: foreign vocabulary, formulas and special notations come through without a hitch.
Create my cardsFlipping and mastery
In review, the card flips with a 3D animation on a single click. You then mark "I knew it" or "Review again": the card moves towards mastered or goes back in progress. A simple spaced-repetition algorithm focuses your effort on what you forget.
Start a sessionJSON export and import
Download all your decks as a local JSON file, then import it to restore or transfer your decks between devices. No network uploads: export and import run in your browser, keeping your content under your control.
Export my cardsProgress statistics
The Statistics tab breaks down, per deck and overall, the number of new, in-progress and mastered cards, along with the mastery rate. You can see at a glance what still needs consolidating before an exam or interview.

Create your decks and cards
In the Cards tab, create one deck per topic (vocabulary, dates, formulas…), then add front/back pairs. The Example tab pre-fills a small deck so you can start immediately.
Review and flip
Start a session: the card appears, you flip it, then mark "I knew it" or "Review again". The progress bar tracks the remaining cards; "Shuffle" reshuffles the order to vary the effort.
Track and save
Check the statistics to target the cards to review, then export your decks as JSON to save or transfer them. Everything stays local: nothing leaves your device.

All about flashcards and memorisation
The flashcards, or memory cards, are one of the most effective and simplest learning tools: a question on the front, an answer on the back, and instant feedback. This free online generator applies that proven principle to the memorisation of any paired content — vocabulary, definitions, dates, formulas — with mastery tracking and statistics, no account and no data uploads.
Why flashcards work
Their effectiveness rests on two cognitive mechanisms: active retrieval (trying to recall the answer before seeing it taxes memory more strongly than passive re-reading) and spaced repetition (reviewing information just as it is about to be forgotten fixes it in long-term memory). This tool applies both: you try to answer as you see the front, then accept or reject the card, which is rescheduled accordingly.
Organising your decks
One deck per topic remains the most effective: "Spanish vocabulary", "History dates", "Physics formulas". This lets you revise a focused subject and export or share a self-contained deck. The tool handles an unlimited number of decks and cards; the only limit is your browser's storage memory.
Mastery tracking and statistics
Each card follows one of three states — new, in progress, mastered. A "review again" answer brings it back to in progress; several consecutive "I knew it" answers lead it to mastered. The Statistics tab aggregates these counters per deck and overall, with the mastery rate, so you know exactly what is left to consolidate the day before an exam.
Export, import and privacy
The JSON export saves all your decks to a local file; the import restores it or transfers it between devices. Nothing passes through a server: cards and statistics live in the localStorage of your browser, which suits sensitive content (contracts, exams, personal data) and works offline once the page has loaded.
Review tips
Keep cards short — one idea per card — for a quick flip. Vary the order with "Shuffle" so you don't memorise the sequence rather than the content. Review regularly rather than in marathons: a few minutes a day is enough when mastery tracking targets the fragile cards. For other study tools, the quiz generator complements flashcards nicely.
