This page describes the cookies and tracking technologies used by the volade.com website, in accordance with EU Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), the CNIL guidelines and the GDPR. Our position is simple: no advertising cookie, no profiling, no data resale.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It enables your browser to be recognised for the duration of the cookie's validity and certain preferences to be remembered.
2. Cookies placed by Volade (strictly necessary)
The following cookies do not require consent because they are strictly necessary for the operation of the website (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act / CNIL guidelines):
- Language preference: remembers your default language.
- Technical session: maintains your authenticated session.
- Cart / subscription: keeps your selection during the ordering process.
3. Anonymous audience measurement
Where applicable, Volade may use an audience measurement exempt from consent under the CNIL guidelines (anonymised data, short retention period, no cross-site tracking, no combination with other processing). It only counts visits and improves the quality of the site. No advertising identifier is created.
4. No advertising or profiling cookie
Volade uses no advertising network, no retargeting tool, no profiling (cross-site tracking) and never resells browsing data. You will never see targeted advertising based on your visit to volade.com.
5. No consent required
In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (transposing the ePrivacy directive), Volade does not seek any consent and displays no banner: the site only places trackers that are strictly necessary for its operation and, where applicable, an exempted anonymised audience measurement. You therefore have nothing to do. You may nevertheless manage or delete these trackers at any time via your browser settings, without this affecting your access to the site.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can configure your browser at any time to accept or refuse cookies:
- Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge
- Private browsing: your browser can automatically delete cookies on exit.
7. Shelf life
Essential cookies have a lifetime limited to their technical needs (session, or a few months for preferences). The anonymised audience measurement tracer is kept for 13 months maximum, and the data collected for 25 months maximum, in accordance with the CNIL recommendations.
8. Personal data
Any information possibly collected through cookies is governed by our Privacy Policy (GDPR). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection in relation to such data, at privacy@volade.com.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated (new features, evolution of CNIL recommendations). The version in force is the one published on this page with its date.
