Every way to find a product on Volade
The homepage search bar is your entry point: classic typing, barcodes, manufacturer references, voice or photo. Each mode feeds the same multi-merchant comparator, with filters, sort and Volade Score on the results page.
Idea, keyword, name & brand
The main mode: describe what you need ("bagless vacuum", "iPhone 15", "Nike Air Max"). Autocomplete suggests products, brands and categories as you type — arrow keys or click to jump straight to a page.
EAN, GTIN & UPC codes
Paste or scan the barcode number (8–13 digits). Volade auto-detects a typed EAN-13 and shows a visual cue in the bar. Ideal from packaging, an invoice or a shop label to find the exact model.
OEM & MPN reference
Manufacturer reference, part number or MPN from a spec sheet: paste it in the bar like a keyword. Essential for auto-moto, DIY, computing or appliances when the commercial name is ambiguous.
Voice search
Mic icon in the bar: say the product or brand (French or English depending on site language). Transcription fills the search field — handy hands-free or on mobile. Requires a compatible browser (recent Chrome, Edge, Safari).
Image search (EAN scan)
Camera icon in the bar: upload a clear photo of the barcode on the packaging. Volade reads the EAN or UPC and launches multi-merchant comparison — handy in a shop or from a photo sent to you.
Catalogue & categories
No keyword in mind? Browse the index by category — computing, games, appliances, fashion, home… — then refine on the results page (brand, budget, deals, delivery time).
AI picks on results
After a search, Volade highlights four computed picks from available offers: best overall, value for money, budget and premium. A shortcut to decide without scrolling through dozens of pages.
Beyond the bar, the Volade Chrome extension detects EAN codes on merchant pages and shows Score and best offers without leaving the store. The Volade mobile app completes the experience with push alerts, native barcode scan and synced favourites — see the dedicated page on volade.com.
Whatever mode you use, the results page unifies the rest: delivery country, advanced filters (merchant rating, free shipping, deals, pro sellers…), sort by total delivered price or relevance, multi-merchant pages and compare up to 10 products. Search opens comparison; filters sharpen your decision.

A low price is not always enough. Volade Score combines several signals to guide your choice more reliably.
The 4 Score pillars
Volade Score is an index calculated by our engine from available product and merchant data: price competitiveness vs the market, customer reviews (Trustpilot, Google, Volade, Yelp when available), merchant transparency (return policy, stated delivery times, clarity of information) and product repairability or durability when that data exists.
It does not replace your judgment: it completes the picture. Two offers at the same price can have very different scores if one comes from an opaque seller or a poorly rated product. Use the score with filters, sort by delivered price and your own criteria (warranty, local support, sustainability).
Volade Score appears on product pages and in the multi-item comparator. It evolves with the data: new reviews, price changes, merchant updates. It is one of the pillars that sets Volade apart from a simple affiliate link aggregator.

Volade, an independent price comparator for online shopping
Our comparator covers computing, tech, appliances, fashion, sport, auto-moto, home and many other categories. Each page groups in-stock or available offers for your delivery country, with product price, shipping when known, merchant and associated terms. You stay in control: Volade never changes the price displayed by the store.
Comparing, filtering, viewing pages and using the multi-product comparator is free. Advanced features — unlimited alerts, cashback, automatic promo codes, full extension — are available via the optional V+ Plan. The essentials remain accessible without a card or subscription.
Product search: keyword, brand, EAN and manufacturer reference
As you type, suggestions point to the most relevant catalogue products. On the results page, the delivery country selector adapts offers to your zone — essential for a realistic delivered price. Side filters narrow by brand, budget range, current deals, delivery time or merchant rating.
Volade also offers voice search (mic icon) and image search (camera icon) from the bar: say a product or import a barcode photo to start comparing. These modes complement typing. EAN/OEM reference search remains an advanced option — useful but not required to use the comparator.
Delivered price, filters and merchant transparency
Volade merchant pages aggregate trust signals: Yelp reviews, transparency history, return policy when documented. Combined with Volade Score, they help avoid the cheapest… but riskiest offer. Sponsored or paid content carries an explicit label; your chosen sort stays visible and is not silently replaced.
Volade is paid by merchant commissions when you buy from a partner via an identified link — never by a surcharge to the shopper. The full business model is on the Transparent affiliation page. In short: you pay the merchant's price; Volade may receive a B2B commission if the purchase completes.
Comparator, price alerts and V+ Plan
Create a free account to save favourites, custom lists and basic price alerts. When a price drops below your threshold, you get an email. V+ unlocks unlimited alerts (SMS, email, push), 1–5% cashback depending on partners, automatic promo code search, the full Chrome extension and ad-free browsing.
