One-click cookie-free zone — scan trackers, block marketing pixels and non-essential cookies. Not a consent banner CMP.

== Description ==

GDPR Cookie-Free Mode by Volade takes a different approach from CookieYes/Complianz: instead of collecting consent, it turns your front-end into a **cookie-free zone** on demand.

* Scan enqueued scripts/styles for GA, GTM, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, LinkedIn, TikTok, Clarity and more
* One-click Cookie-Free Mode that dequeues matching assets and strips non-allowlisted Set-Cookie headers
* 4 privacy presets: Strict GDPR, Soft Privacy, Marketing Kill, Cookie-Free Zone
* Configurable essential cookie allowlist (WordPress, WooCommerce, PHPSESSID…)
* Action log (last 100 events) and free JSON export
* Site Health test, REST `cfm/v1`, WP-CLI `wp cfm`

Works without a Volade account. Connect for REST automation. V+ for scheduled scans, multisite and custom tracker rules.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the ZIP via Plugins → Add New → Upload
2. Activate GDPR Cookie-Free Mode by Volade
3. Open Volade → Cookie-Free Mode (or Tools → Cookie-Free Mode)

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Is this a consent management platform (CMP)? =

No. It does not show a consent banner. It disables tracking when Cookie-Free Mode is ON.

= Will it break WordPress login cookies? =

No. Essential cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*, woocommerce_*, PHPSESSID, etc.) stay on the allowlist. Admins are bypassed by default.
