# Volade Toolbar **Volade Toolbar** is a universal search and launcher bar, part of the VOLADE ecosystem — built with **Tauri 2 (Rust + WebView2)**, styled with the purple VOLADE identity and fully multilingual. ![Volade](assets/logo.png) --- ## Version **1.0.0** — September 2026 *1.0.0 is the final release:* the bar drags and snaps to the nearest screen edge (its position is saved and restored), the picker / settings / premium panels open **centered, borderless and frameless**, real **transparency** affects the bar only, the weather has a fallback provider, and minimizing sends the app to the **system tray**. The Settings and Premium panels are wider. ## Features - **Universal search** — search the web, social networks, media, AI platforms, marketplaces and more from a single bar; the query (`{q}`) is injected into the target site's search URL. - **Quick-launch buttons** — clock, power shortcuts and your most-used apps with their **real program icons**, displayed right on the bar. - **17 languages** — the entire interface (bar, settings, premium panel) is translated: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Vietnamese. Switching takes effect **immediately**. - **Movable bar** — drag it with the grip handle; its on-screen position is **saved** and restored at launch, always **aligned to the edges** of the screen without overflowing. - **Snap to edge** — the bar automatically snaps to the nearest screen edge (top, bottom, left or right) when dragged close, adapting to any resolution and multi-monitor setup. - **Centered modals** — the site picker, settings and premium panels open as centered borderless windows with **no frame, no border and no background**. - **System tray** — minimizing the app hides it in the notification area (tray); click the tray icon (or use its menu) to bring the bar back. - **Adjustable transparency** — configure the bar's transparency from 0 % (opaque) to 40 % in the Settings. - **Volade Premium** — the exact same plans as the website (Free €0 / Premium €9.90 per month or €8.49 per year / Lifetime €299, crossed out from €399; promo code `WELCOME` for -10%). Launch **Volade Toolbar**. 2. A splash screen appears for a moment, then the bar settles on screen. 3. Type a query and press **Enter** to search on the current site or engine. 4. Click the site icon (next to the search field) to open the **site picker**: a centered window opens with all available sites. 5. Click the **gear** button to open **Settings** (language, theme, transparency, autostart, shortcuts, engines, info). 6. Click the **premium button** to view the plans and checkout. ## Using the toolbar - **Search a site** — select a site, type your query, press Enter. If the URL contains `{q}`, the query replaces it. - **Change site / engine** — open the picker, pick a site (custom engines are highlighted with their icon). - **Move the bar** — hold the grip (three dots) and drag; your position is saved. The bar snaps to the nearest screen edge for perfect alignment. - **Pro tip** — enable search history (Premium) and click any past query to re-run it. ## Settings - **Language** — 17 languages available, applied instantly. - **Theme** — Dark / Light. - **Transparency** — 0 % to 40 %, adjustable in increments of 10 %. - **Weather** — show the weather in the bar (city configurable). - **Autostart** — launch with Windows at logon (default: on). - **Custom shortcuts** (Premium) — add app shortcuts with the app's real icon, rename them, enable/disable them. - **Custom engines** (Premium) — add your own search engine with an icon. - **Voice search** (Premium) — speak to search; uses your system speech recognition and the current interface language. - **Info** — version and about. ## Premium The premium modal reproduces the official prices: - **Free** — €0, forever. - **Premium** — €9.90/month or €8.49/year (billing toggle). - **Lifetime** — €299 (~~€399~~).
